THE CLIENTS WANTED TO RAISE THEIR CHILDREN IN THE OLD SCHOOL HOUSE AND LIVE A MORE SUSTAINABLE LIFESTYLE. WE ASSEMBLED A DESIGN/CONSTRUCTION TEAM AND BUILT A HOME WITHIN BUDGET THAT EXCEEDED THEIR EXPECTATIONS AND USES 33% LESS ENERGY.
The home achieved an ENERGY STAR rating of 67 (exceeding project goal) and a THREE STAR rating in the CHICAGO GREEN HOME PROGRAM. It was featured in CS Interiors Fall 2012 and received an honorable mention from the Association of Licensed Architects in 2010.
